Your encrypted Discernment journal

Journal entries are encrypted in your browser before they reach our servers — Feason cannot read them.

What it is

The Discernment journal is for the writing you do before God — examination, prayer, grief, hope. It is built so that what you write there is for you alone.

How the privacy works

  • Entries are encrypted in your browser (AES-256), before anything is sent to Feason. Our servers store only ciphertext.
  • Because we can’t read entries, they are excluded from the recommendation system *by construction* — there is nothing readable to feed it.
  • Deleting an entry is permanent.

Unlocking your journal

If you sign in with email and password, your account password unlocks the journal. If you sign in with Google or Apple, you’ll create a separate journal passphrase the first time you use it.
