Language models are remarkably good at producing a plausible theological paragraph. Plausibility is not provenance. A polished answer may collapse traditions, invent a quotation, or speak with certainty beyond its sources.

Feason Context is infrastructure for a different sequence: retrieve and organize evidence first, then let a model respond.

The model should not be the memory

Feason Context provides a versioned corpus of Scripture and historical Christian sources with stable passage identifiers and provenance. Applications can search exact passages, build token-budgeted context, evaluate a claim against curated evidence, assemble evidence packets, and verify citations.

The language model remains interchangeable. The evidence contract does not depend on asking one provider to remember Christian history correctly.

A claim may have more than two sides

Ordinary fact checking often assumes a statement is true or false. Theological claims regularly require a richer map. A source may support a claim, oppose it, qualify it, supply context, or simply be irrelevant.

The claim-checking API preserves those distinctions. Missing evidence is never silently converted into contradiction, and a retrieved passage remains attached to its source and tradition. The API helps an application show why a claim is contested without pretending that retrieval has completed the work of interpretation.

Agents need the same discipline

Feason also exposes Context through MCP, allowing compatible agents to discover sources, inspect corpus metadata, retrieve passages, and use the same evidence operations available through REST. Public tools stay inside the canonical corpus boundary. Private operations require explicit authorization.

This gives agent builders a practical way to put inspectable Christian sources behind research, teaching, editorial, and conversational products.

Show the work

Our standard for Christian AI is not that every answer reaches the same conclusion. It is that consequential claims can be traced to evidence, represented traditions are named, missing perspectives are visible, and uncertainty is not polished away.

Eloquence is useful. Evidence makes eloquence answerable.
