SEMINAR 3.3

Grace, Freedom & Participation

Does grace perfect, liberate, replace, or recreate creaturely agency?

  1. 01

    Grace before rivalry

Grace does not compete with nature; it heals and enables creaturely action.

  2. 02

    Justification and the sinner

Justification names God’s gracious judgment that creates a new standing and life.

  3. 03

    Deification without absorption

Participation in divine life fulfills creaturehood rather than dissolving it.

  4. 04

    Convergence with remainder
